Most cell phone signal boosters, including this one, will begin operating immediately after they’re set up and powered on.
FCC regulations require owners of signal boosters to register their devices with their carriers. Your registration will not be declined or refused, and your carrier will not require any licensing or documentation.
The booster will work both before and after you register it.
