The weBoost Drive Reach will operate without being registered with your carrier.
FCC regulations require owners of cell phone signal boosters to register their devices with their carriers. This requirement was intended to make it easier for carriers to correct network problems that would occur in the unlikely event that a booster were to fail or be incorrectly configured. Registering the booster does not activate it on the carrier’s network, however; it will work out of the box.
