The cable you’ll use to connect a weBoost cell signal booster to a marine antenna depends on what connector the marine antenna has. (This image of different kinds of coax cable connectors will help you identify which one your antenna has.)
- The weBoost Drive Reach mobile booster has either a threaded SMA connector (models made since spring 2022) or a plug-in SMB connector (models made before spring 2022). (See this image to help you identify which connector your weBoost Drive Reach has.)
- If your weBoost Drive Reach has a threaded SMA connector, then your coax cable will need to have an SMA-male connector on one end; if it has a plug-in SMB connector, then you’ll also need an adapter to attach the cable’s SMA-male connector.
- If your marine antenna has an N connector on it (like the Wilson, Top Signal, and Poynting marine antennas), then the other end of the coax cable will need an N-male connector. Powerful Signal has thin, flexible coax cables with SMA-male/N-male connectors in various lengths, including 5 feet, 10 feet, 15 feet, and 20 feet.
- If your marine antenna has a different kind of connector, please contact Powerful Signal and we’ll be happy to help you find the right cable for your booster and antenna.
