The Top Signal RF Explorer signal meter can find the direction of the source of a signal. You can do this by adding a jumper cable and a directional antenna.
- Connect the small SMA-male end of the jumper cable to signal meter’s right connector.
- Connect the large N-male end of the jumper cable to the antenna’s pigtail connector.
- Scan for your desired frequency as you point the antenna in different directions. The direction with the strongest signal reading is the direction of the signal’s source.
