Yes, the SolidRF Fiber DAS 4400 would be an excellent solution for a drill ship or other large vessel at anchor.
There is no signal loss between the Master Unit and the Remote Unit, and with a short run of cable between the outside antenna and the Master Unit, the MU would be able to provide maximum amplification of the available outside signal. You could run coax cables from the RU to individual antennas in the compartments where you need signal. If you need signal in more than four compartments, you could split the signal from one RU (if outside signal is strong enough) or add additional RUs (if outside signal is weak) to support up to 16 inside antennas.
