That may be possible, as long as you can meet a few requirements:
- The inside antenna must be mounted so its front face is pointing parallel to the floor (sideways, not up toward the ceiling) and away from the outside antenna. This is to prevent the outside and inside antennas from overlapping each other and causing signal oscillation.
- The floor between the crawl space and the main living area is made of softwoods (like fir or pine) and does not contain metal sheets or other other materials that reflect radio waves.
- Your home is a single story, or you expect to receive amplified cellular signal only on the first floor of a multi-story home.
